Skillet Creek Campground is a private campground located in the beautiful wooded hills of Baraboo, Wisconsin. This 70-acre campground is the place to go if you want to get in touch with nature and relax in a peaceful calm setting.

There are a variety of ways to stay at Skillet Creek Campground, including both full and partial hookup RV sites. These sites offer 20, 30, or 50-amp electrical service. There are pull-through and back-in sites available with plenty of room to maneuver. 

The sites also feature a grass surface. Seasonal RV sites are available as well.

Other staying options include tent sites with and without electricity. Tent campsites include a fire ring and picnic table. Some of the tent sites are next to the Skillet Creek, quartzite bluff, or the pond.

Skillet Creek offers four rental cabins if you prefer to stay in a fixed structure. These modern cabins include one bedroom and two lofts. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed. One of the lofts has a queen size bed, and the other has two twin beds.

The cabins also include a full bathroom, a living room with a futon, and a kitchen. There’s also heat, air conditioning, and a fire pit and picnic table outside.

All the cabins can sleep between 6 and 8 people. Cabin one is handicapped accessible and allows pets. Cabin two allows pets, and cabins three and four don’t allow pets.

Fun things to do at the campground include swimming in the brand new one-acre swimming pond, catch and release fishing, volleyball/cross net, Gaga Ball, Jumping Pad, game room, glow parades, watching movies, Saturday kids crafts, and more.

Devil’s Lake State Park Campgrounds

Ice Age Trail Campground

There are two sections to the Ice Age Trail Campground the Upper and Lower Ice Age. The Upper Ice Age has campsites surrounded by trees, and the Lower Ice Age has open and wooded campsites.

This campground has no electrical hookups and is a favorite of tent campers, but RVs are allowed. The Ice Age Trail Campground is about a mile from the beach and picnic area.

Amenities include showers, restrooms, and seven pit toilet buildings. This campground also features three handicap-accessible campsites.


Northern Lights Campground

This campground features 71 campsites that offer electric and non-electric. There are wooded and open space sites. From the Northern Lights Campground, you are about half a mile from the beach and picnic area with connecting trails.

Here you will find two sites that are handicap accessible. Amenities include a dump station, a fill station, a shower, restrooms, and a playground.


Quartzite 

The Quartzite campground is the only campground in Devil’s Lake State Park open during winter. This campground features 75 electrical hookup sites and 25 non-electrical sites.
